This I Believe… In Ten Minutes
I believe that my wife loves me.
I believe that she wants me to succeed
I believe that I need to do well in this
class
I believe that I need a vacation.
I believe that my daughter takes after her
mother.
I believe that there is never anything
worthwhile on television anymore.
I believe that I should check into a larger
satellite package.
I believe that I won’t buy a larger
package.
I believe that this is the longest ten
minutes of today.
I believe that I’m going to have a terrible
time with the freewriting
I believe that this class just might be the
death of me.
I believe that I’m not particularly looking
forward to taking any other English classes.
I believe that this ten minutes will never
end.
I believe that the pugs are making too much
noise for me to concentrate.
I believe that I need to get them some more
toys.
I believe that I am too caught up in
correct spelling for this assignment.
I also believe that I will have a hard time
at the freewriting because of that.
I believe that my thoughts travel faster
than my fingers and that it is hard to keep up with the train.
I believe that I can’t believe that the
timer hasn’t went off yet.
I believe that this is much harder to do
while typing than it would have been writing.
I believe that there is something fundamentally
more natural about writing with a pencil and paper.
I believe that statements like that make me
feel old.
I believe that I will grow old before I
truly feel old.
I believe that I will always be a child at
heart.
I believe that children are smarter than
adults in some cases.
